How are you teaching your children about the dangers of pornography?

In today’s society the ability to access pornography is so easy.  With cell phones and the internet, pornography can be viewed anywhere. Children are being exposed at ever younger ages to hard-core pornographic images. If this exposure goes unchecked, children can develop pornography addictions, which carry over into their high school and college years. Untreated this addiction can then be brought into the marriage secretly, and, over time, the marriage and new family is destroyed. Pornography rapes the mind; the human brain was not designed to handle the major release of neurochemicals unleashed when one views porn.  Studies have shown there is damage done to the brain, and brain chemistry is altered when one is exposed to pornography. In fact, an addiction to pornography is chemically identical to a heroin addiction.  Talking to your child about sex and purity can be a hard subject to initiate.  This is an on-going conversation that needs to start when your child is young and continue through out their college years.
